Power comes from a numbers-matching 400ci W72 V8 mated to a 4-speed manual gearbox and a Positraction rear end.

The numbers-matching 400ci L78 V8 was ordered with the factory W72 performance package as indicated by the supplied build sheet, and was originally rated at 200 horsepower and 320 lb-ft of torque for 1977.

The radiator have been replaced, the 4-barrel carburetor was rebuilt in 2019, and service in preparation for the sale included replacement of the fuel and air filters as well as an oil change.

Modifications include Hedman headers feeding a dual exhaust system.

The 4-speed manual gearbox features a reverse lockout and routes power to a Positraction rear end with a 3.23:1 gear ratio.

Ziebart anti-rust coating was applied when new.
