ERA cars utilize a Jaguar independent rear suspension and subframe, including the inboard disc brakes.

The data plate shows that this car is ERA #3001, which was their first 289 slabside replica.

The fiberglass body was designed by ERA to emulate the Cobra 289 street cars, which are less often replicated than the 427 cars with their large fender flares and side exit exhaust.

This example has been finished in black and features fresh air vents, wind wings, a tonneau cover, and Monza-style gas filler cap.

Chrome 15×6″ Dunop Spline Drive wire wheels have been added using Dayton notch adapters and dual-ear 42mm knock off spinner hubs with AC center emblems.

They wear a set of Firestone FR710 tires.

The black interior features leather seats and door panels with pockets.

Additional touches include AC-branded floor mats, pedal covers, and three-spoke wood rimmed steering wheel.

SW instrumentation includes a speedometer and tachometer, as well as water temperature, oil temperature, amperage, and oil pressure gauges.

A Smiths analog clock is also mounted in the dash, and the odometer currently shows just 863 miles.
