Refurbishment included repainting the car in red, renewing the black leather interior, and installing a 408ci V8 along with a five-speed manual transmission and a 9″ rear end.The 408ci V8 was built by Keith Craft Racing, and is equipped with branded valve covers, a polished Edelbrock air filter cover, and an MSD ignition system.A chrome Monte Carlo bar spans the engine bay,and a Holley Brawler 850-cfm double-pumper carburetor, aluminum radiator, and replacement fuel tank have been fitted.The battery has been relocated to the trunk.The car is equipped with a Tremec five-speed manual transmission and a 9″ rear axle.The clutch assembly has been replaced.The car was finished in Lime Gold (I) from the factory and have been refinished in red in 2019.The clear cowl vents on the hood are removable, and additional exterior details include polished window and rocker panel trim, chrome bumpers, black quarter panel vents, sequential taillights, tinted glass, and louvers behind the B-pillars.Chrome 14″ Magnum 500–style wheels feature black recesses and are mounted with 215/60 front and 235/60 rear BFGoodrich Radial T/A white letter tires.Stopping power is provided by manual disc brakes with slotted rotors up front and cross-drilled rotors out back.The cabin features front bucket seats and a folding rear bench recovered in black leather with pleated inserts as well as silver trim on the center console.Appointments include a Kenwood Bluetooth stereo, Vintage Air climate control, lap belts, a Hurst shifter, and a removable center armrest with cupholders.The carpeting and headliner have been replaced.A wood-rimmed steering wheel frames AutoMeter instrumentation including a 160-mph speedometer, a 10k-rpm tachometer, and readouts for oil pressure, fuel level, and water temperature.A voltage gauge is located behind the sliding cover in the center stack.The five-digit odometer shows just under 11k miles since installation, and total mileage is unknown.
