This 1988 BMW M3 is powered by a 2.3-liter inline-four paired with a five-speed manual transmission and is finished in Salmon Silver Metallic over black leather.

The 2.3-liter S14 inline-four was factory rated at 192 horsepower and 170 lb-ft of torque.

Modifications are said to include a Jim Conforti ECU and Schrick camshafts.

The intake boot and valve cover gaskets were replaced in 2018, and the removed camshafts are included in the sale.

The Getrag five-speed manual transmission has been fitted with a Z3-spec short-throw shifter and transfers power to the rear wheels through a limited-slip differential.

The MacPherson strut/semi-trailing arm suspension was revised for the M3 with a thicker rear anti-roll bar as well as shorter and stiffer springs.

Modifications include Bilstein shocks and H&R lowering springs.

Zimmerman front brake rotors and Textar pads were reportedly fitted in 2018.

A spare set of 15″ basketweave wheels and removed springs will accompany the car.

The cabin features manually-adjustable front sport seats as well as a rear bench upholstered in black leather.

Amenities include air conditioning, cruise control, and power windows, mirrors, and locks.

VDO instrumentation includes a 160-mph speedometer and an 8k-rpm tachometer as well as gauges for oil temperature, coolant temperature, and fuel level.
