This 1989 Volkswagen Golf GTI 16V is a modified example that is finished in burgundy over black and gray and powered by a turbocharged 1.8-liter inline-four paired with a five-speed manual transaxle.

Power is sent to the front wheels via a five-speed manual transaxle.

Service in anticipation of the sale consisted of an oil change and a mechanical inspection.

The body was stripped to bare metal and the front side marker lights were shaved and rear body panel seams were filled.
