This Ford hot rod is a five-window coupe that is powered by a 383ci Chevrolet V8 paired with a three-speed automatic transmission and wear a steel Ford body mounted on a 1933 frame.The 383ci Chevrolet V8 was sourced from BluePrint Engines, with its included dyno sheet showing peak output of 431 horsepower and 450 lb-ft of torque.Additional work have included rebuilding the radiator as well as replacement of the carburetor, alternator, fuel tank, fuel and water pumps, and brake master cylinder.Four-into-one tube headers feed a dual exhaust system.Power is sent to the rear wheels through a TCI StreetFighter TH350 three-speed automatic transmission and a reinforced Ford 9″ rear end with a PowerTrax differential.An oil cooler is mounted under the rear portion of the body.The channeled body, louvered hood, and trunk lid are said to be Ford steel and are finished in satin black.Details include a replacement grille and period Trippe headlights as well as high-mounted mirrors on either side.Black 15″ steel wheels wear staggered-size American Classic radial tires.Braking is handled by power-assisted discs up front and drums in rear.The front end comprises a beam axle with drop spindles, a four-bar setup, adjustable polished aluminum QA1 shocks, and a rebuilt steering box, while the solid-axle rear end features ladder bars, a Panhard bar, and adjustable coilovers.The cockpit houses custom punched aluminum panelling as well as racing-style bucket seats trimmed in black vinyl.The floor and ceiling have been coated in textured truck bed liner.A four-spoke steering wheel is mounted to a replacement chrome steering column with a sweep-style tachometer.Additional Stewart Warner instruments in a brushed aluminum panel include a 120-mph speedometer along with gauges for fuel level, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and voltage.The six-digit odometer shows 880 miles since installation.
